FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: Why should I (or my child) attend the Jay Sharrers Officiating School?

A: This unique experience involves an atmosphere of positive coaching, learning & mentorship, cooperation & motivation, networking & fellowship, and fun. Participants will be challenged to improve their skating, mechanics, positioning, rule knowledge, communication, and more. Instructors will observe participants and may recommend standouts for possible higher-level opportunities and assignments. All past participants who are (or will be) attending college will be eligible to apply for a scholarship to help with their post-secondary education expenses.
